Well, I decided to give a new oyster company a try … after searching the internet I landed at the website of Island Creek Oyster Company out of Duxbury, Massachusetts.
Great website and ordering experience with reasonable cost to have some oysters shipped to New Mexico.
These are some really awesome tasting oysters at $1.50 a oyster (on the salty end of the spectrum, my family and I like that), fast overnight shipping with a cold indicator, plus a bonus bottle opener (woo hoo!). One issue was the shipping box leaked a little due to some rough handling causing a crack in the styrofoam container. Overall great experience, thanks Island Creek Oyster company for a excellent product!
